While we are used to seeing female drivers these days. it is great to see female steam footplate crew.

I went the following day, when the weather was lovely and there was no apparent problem with 7754. :) Someone on the staff must have seen this video, because there were people walking up and down the train ensuring all the windows were shut before it reached the tunnel. ;)

Loved seeing the Standard 4 tender engine and Clun Castle best of all. I'm not keen on the Mickey Mouse tank engine, yet he does have a certain charm about him.

Very nice. The engine is kinda cute. My Dad's ashes have been scattered along the Severn Valley Railway. He committed suicide in 1999, and I still miss him very much. It was he who introduced me to real steam engines, when I was 4-years-old. I have a lot to thank him for.
